Martin Black Clinic

We had a good time at the Martin Black clinic in October at Willowbrook Farm. The facilities were amazing, very beautiful green pastures and gorgeous barns and arenas.

I particularly enjoyed the A-pen work that Martin had us do. My horse, who had not really been around cows at all, started to really get the hang of defending. It was a good learning experience for me as well, in having a little more trust in my horse, and letting him make his own decisions. That will help him learn much faster than forcing him to make the right decision.

Why Custom Gear?

I believe a lot can be said of a person just by the way they look. Take cowboys for instance - you can tell where a man is from by any number of things: The shape of his hat, how he wears his boots, his saddle design and make, what kind of chaps and spurs he wears. All these things put together make up who he is - they define him in some strange way.

Many of my customers want something special for them or their horse that has that extra twist that makes it their OWN. They want to stand out just a little bit from the rest. If you want to make a statement about yourself and your particular style, custom gear is for you.

I believe in upholding the traditions of the Vaquero. I strive to keep my products as traditional as possible, from making my own rawhide to only using natural material in the construction of my gear.

I am starting to build up my inventory of gear, but it's a slow process. If there is something you don't see, or you have questions about the availablility of a product, shoot me an e-mail or give me a call and we can talk about what you need. Your imagination is the limit. If you can think it up, I can build it.

We accept Paypal as well as personal check.

Happy Trails!
